Within the field of visual attention, ERP research yields complementary experimental findings that would not have been possible to achieve from behavioral experiments nor from studies using imaging techniques such as fMRI. The high temporal resolution of ERP makes it possible to disentangle the nature of visual attention, which is the main focus of this workshop.
