I have initiated and established research collaboration in Australia, with the Health Economics Unit at Flinders University in Adelaide, South Australia.This research collaboration and the network was specially established with Professor in Health Economics Julie Ratcliffe, who was the leader. The visit also resulted in excellent cooperation with Associate Professor Gang Chen, at the 4Centre for Health Economics, Monash Business School, Monash University, 900 Dandenong Road, Caulfield East, VIC 3145, Australia.
Julie Ratcliffe has been involved with developing a new tool to measure health related quality of life among children and adolescents, the Child Health Utility 9 Dimensions (CHU9D). During my visit to Australia, I had CHU9D translated and linguistically validated into Danish, and I am now deeply involved in the validation of the instrument. I am working on several publications regarding the CHU9D.
