Beskrivelse

I cordially invite you to attend the Smart Spaces Outreach Workshop organized by EIT ICT Labs Budapest Associate Partner Group, taking place in Budapest on 28 November 2014. The workshop is led by the EIT ICT Labs Smart Spaces Action Line Leader Petri Liuha. The purpose of the event is to connect the most outstanding and innovative European research groups working in the field of Smart Spaces to the corresponding EIT ICT Labs Innovation Area. During the workshop, we aim to find out how we can jointly contribute to the competitiveness of Europe and to the success of our R&D&I activities, as well as how EIT ICT Labs can transfer its best practices to the participating research groups. We intend to elaborate a win-win model and to discuss how we can raise EU, regional, local, and national funds together in order to ensure the success of this R&D&I cooperation. The workshop is organized within the framework of the EIT ICT Labs Outreach Programme. The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) is an independent body of the European Union set up in 2008 to spur innovation and entrepreneurship across Europe. The EIT – part of H2020 – is a key driver of sustainable European economic growth and competitiveness with a budget of € 2 711.4 million for the period 2014-2020. One of its 3 Knowledge and Innovation Communities is ICT Labs, which brings together leading higher education institutions, research labs and companies to form dynamic cross-border partnerships. These partners cover 70% of the cutting edge research, development and innovation of Europe. The Outreach Programme develops mutually fruitful cooperation with those member states of the European Union that are not directly connected to the EIT ICT Labs network. The aim of the Outreach Programme is to help professors and researchers to become partners of EIT ICT Labs projects, to activate startups, and to support talented students to join the EIT ICT Labs educational programmes. If you can participate in the workshop, we can cover the accommodation and travel costs related to your visit. As we would book your ticket and your accommodation, we kindly ask you to let us know your preferences related to your travel and accommodation. We look forward to your kind feedback. Best regards, Zoltán Horváth Director EIT ICT Labs Budapest Associate Partner Group
