Invited plenary presentation at AESIS Impact of Social Sciences, Humanities & Arts 2021 Conference

Communicating trusted and actionable knowledge is more important than ever. It helps us address global challenges such as climate change, migration and public health within a context of complexity, uncertainties and rapid changes. Scientists and scholars are constantly challenged by societal demands for clear, open, and accessible information. Preserving the integrity of science and allowing for the communication of uncertainties and diversity of interpretations are an essential part of a healthy information environment. Guiding researchers to co-create and translate knowledge into practice is the core of «knowledge brokering» as a key pathway to impact of research.
