KES Annual Conference Series KES International Conferences in Knowledge-Based and Intelligent Engineering & Information Systems have taken place annually since 1997, first in Australia, then in venues around the world, returning to the UK every three or four years. The KES annual conference regularly attracts several hundred delegates. KES Conferences provide exciting opportunities for researchers to share ideas and find out about the latest developments in Intelligent Systems. Special features of KES conferences are the Invited Sessions on specific technical topics, organised and chaired by senior researchers with a special interest in the topic. This provides opportunities for sessions on new and emerging topics which might not be covered elsewhere. Proceedings for KES conferences and symposia are published my major scientific publishers, indexed in many places to ensure high visibility. The KES International Conference on Innovation in Medicine and Healthcare (InMed-15) will gather a multi-disciplinary group consisting of researchers and engineers, managers, students and practitioners from the medical arena, to discuss the ways that innovation, knowledge exchange and enterprise can be applied to issues relating to medicine, surgery, healthcare and the issues of an ageing population. A central theme of the conference will be announced at the website which is anticipated will cover the ways in which modern intelligent systems contribute to the solution of problems faced by healthcare and medical practitioners today, addressing the application of these systems through all of the strands of the event. Call for Papers High quality papers are requested within the scope of the conference. Full papers will be peer reviewed, and if accepted and presented, they will appear the the proceedings. The proceedings will be published in the IOS Press series Studies in Health Technology and Informatics. 'The series has been accepted by MEDLINE/PubMed, Scopus, EMCare, Book Citation Index - Science and Thomson Reuters’ Conference Proceedings Citation Index' (publishers information). Alternatively, authors may choose to submit a short paper, which will be presented but will not appear in the proceedings.
