Beskrivelse

Workshop 1: Designing for non-formal learning: A child is playing computer games; another child is online-chatting with his or her friend; yet another child in surfing on the Internet. They are just (game) playing. But what are children really doing when they play with computers and online? This workshop is about how people shape their own learning in situations where their perception is not focused on learning, but rather on person-centred activities tailored to maximise immersion of individuals and groups (i.e. non-formal learning). Methods and means of transferring these non-formal ways of learning to formal contexts are discussed. Design is a way to configure learning activities, tools, and processes. Technology, practice and how people evolve from recipients of knowledge and information to designers of their own learning are explored.
