ViLD’s Research atelier: An open lecture series on the visuals potential for knowledge generation 2017:Why do we need research in visualizations in Society?
This series of open lectures address this question in concordance with visualizations and visual knowing from different perspectives. We have invited international top researchers to share their expertise addressing the overall research interest on the visuals potential for knowledge generation

ViLD’s Research Atelier is a new format presenting research-based knowledge by professionals to professionals of importance to the field of visual studies, knowledge generation and learning. The purpose is to bring different theoretical approaches together to meet ViLD’s research agenda of exploring the visual’s potential for knowledge generation
The format is 45 minutes of speech and 20 minutes for discussion with the lecturers and audience.
