Aalborg University (AAU) is collaborating with Green Hub Denmark, Sound & Light, GEST, and other cultural institutions to develop a mobile green power generator as a clean alternative to diesel generators used at outdoor events. The generator, which can produce up to 80 kW of electricity, is mobile and can be charged through the grid if sunlight is insufficient. Associate Professor Simon Sahlin of AAU Energy says the generator can also be used in emergencies where power is crucial. AAU Energy plans to expand the concept with more environmentally friendly fuels.
