Beskrivelse

In a commentary, Xing Li, a Yunshan leading scholar and adjunct professor of international relations at Aalborg University, and Jan Oberg, o-founder and director of the independent Transnational Foundation for Peace and Future Research, argue that Europe is caught in rising tensions with the world's major powers, which risks undermining its political independence and economic stability. They suggests that Europe should reevaluate its strategic direction to embrace a multipolar world order, and rebuild a strong and pragmatic relationship with China. "Rebuilding a strong, well-managed relationship with China is not merely an option — it is Europe's best hope for navigating an increasingly challenging global landscape," the authors say.
