Beskrivelse

The Pioneer Center for Accelerating P2X Materials Discovery – also called CAPeX - has received DKK 300 million in funds to develop materials for converting water and CO2 into sustainable fuels and chemicals via power from green energy sources. The centre is a partnership between the Technical University of Denmark and Aalborg University. Professor Frede Blaabjerg from Aalborg University is co-lead at CAPeX and is heading the development of the so-called digital twin, where researchers in a virtual universe can test new materials before they are manufactured. According to Mr Blaabjerg "we can both describe processes that, in reality, require a long time, and test materials with many different qualities at once.” (Summary provided by Infomedia) Sources: Stateofgreen.dk, 03-01-2023
