Presse/medie

Beskrivelse

Several Danish universities, including Aalborg University, are developing underwater communication control systems to detect intelligence activities on the seabed. The project, funded by the National Defence Technology Centre, is led by the Department of Energy at Aalborg University. Simon Pedersen, project leader and lecturer at Aalborg University, says, "Denmark will depend more on marine energy. Therefore, it becomes more urgent to monitor the critically important underwater infrastructure to prevent sabotage and espionage." Mr Pedersen also highlights the need for a monitoring system to respond to potential threats. (Summary provided by Infomedia). Sources:News.am English, 04-07-2024
