Beskrivelse

The CORNERSTONE project, aimed at modernizing industrial wastewater treatment systems, has been launched with the goal of facilitating the recovery of freshwater, energy, and solutes. The project is coordinated by Cejna Anna Quist-Jensen and Aamer Ali from Aalborg University. "Industrial waste streams are highly complex, requiring a paradigm shift to transform them into valuable resources. We will develop new technologies and combine them with conventional processes to create synergies for circular industrial value chains," Quist-Jensen says. The project, funded by the EU, will run until the end of 2027. (Summary provided by Infomedia)
