Facebook communication patterns of male users across EU

Online social media communication patterns for Male Monthly Active Users (MAU) in the EU from January to November 2021. The 3D STC (right) and 2D map (left) display patterns where thicker and light-pink-coloured trajectories indicate many connections, whereas smaller and darker-pink-coloured trajectories reveal a small number of connections. The proportional symbols displayed on the 2D map offer the same information on male communication patterns as the trajectories of flows within individual countries.
