      Beskrivelse

FIT – the Fraunhofer Institute of Applied Information technology in partnership with the IPCity project today announces that the public user testing of TimeWarp will take place in January 2010 in Cologne. Based on the legendary German tale about the “Heinzelmännchen" of Cologne (little elves that during the night completed peoples' work), TimeWarp creates the illusion of visiting the past, present and future by adding virtual characters, objects and challenges to real world locations. TimeWarp is ideal for anyone ranging from those with an interest in the City of Cologne, through to those interested in trying out new gaming experiences and state-of-the-art technologies. The development of TimeWarp is led by a team of researchers from Fraunhofer FIT in partnership with members of the IPCity consortium.
