Beskrivelse

Supermarkets and shops in Denmark are experiencing unprecedented levels of theft. Shoplifting has risen by 23% in the past six months compared to last year, the National Police says. Rasmus Munksgaard, assistant professor at Aalborg University, explains that high inflation increases shoplifting. According to Munksgaard, research shows that the less valuable money is, the more incentive there is to steal. In September, inflation in Denmark rose to 10%, which is the highest amount in 40 years.(Summary provided by Infomedia) Sources:Worldakkam, 13-10-2022
