Rectors propose less risky path to shortened masters

On 30 May, Universities Denmark stated it was proposing a reform of the master’s degree that will make it possible to guarantee both the employability of graduates as well as the quality of the degree. Among the eight vice-chancellors who make up the membership of Universities Denmark is Per Michael Johansen, vice-chancellor at Aalborg University. The statement was issued after the Danish government announced a proposal for a reform of the masters' degree, which will shorten up to half of Denmark's master's degrees.
