Arla Foods Ingredients has conducted a study on medical nutrition plans, finding that 30% of patients recommended such plans were unable to complete them due to cost, difficulty ingesting or digesting products, and bodily intolerance. The study also revealed that taste and texture of products were significant factors in non-compliance. The findings will be discussed in a webinar featuring Randi Tobberup, PhD, MSc, RD head of clinical dietitians at the Center for Nutrition and Bowel Failure at Aalborg University in Denmark.
