Solvejg Kristensen, Managing Director of Eye-Grain, won third place in the Technology and Research category of the Women in Ag Awards 2023. Ms Kristensen, who also conducts research for Aalborg University at The Faculty of Medicine, was recognised for her work in introducing new technologies to the industry, including the first system to monitor moisture and CO2 levels in containers to detect early signs of insect or fungi spoilage. She has been cited in numerous academic papers and promotes measures to improve mental health and reduce stress among her employees.
