Organisationsprofil

Human Building Interaction describes cross-disciplinary research which aims to create human-technology integrated architectural environments, making new technologies sustainable and usable for people. Methods comprise qualitative approaches (post-occupancy evaluation, ethnography, participatory design, technology adoption) as well as quantitative measurements. With our human building interaction approach we want to improve integration of occupants and users, building envelope and building service systems, leading to sustainable, healthy and comfortable buildings.
