In the Human Inclusive Versatile Experience Lab (HIVE Lab) we work with immersive and versatile experiences that support diverse groups across society from neurodivergent children and adolescents to adults and older adults. Our work focuses on exploring accessible and adaptive virtual environments, novel interaction techniques, and AI-enhanced tools that promote learning, independence, rehabilitation, and well-being.

We combine technical development with user-centred evaluation and collaborate closely with schools, municipalities, healthcare professionals, NGOs, and industry partners to ensure that our solutions create meaningful real-world impact.
