Forskningsprofil

Researching higher education under a policy-organization-practice perspective. I am invested in internationally recognized research in the three overlapping areas ‘Digital Transformation of Higher Education’, ’Policy and Organization of Problem-Based Learning (PBL)’ and The Future of Social Sciences and Humanities’.

Having worked within the critical-rational paradigm for many years, my interests have recently expanded to systems thinking, practice theory/activity theory, pragmatist co-constructive approaches and neo-institutional theory/Scandinavian New Institutionalism. Currently, I am exploring post-structural and neo-material epistemologies to understand higher education as a site of broader societal phenomena.

As a “blended scholar” I am affiliated to the Centre for Educational Policy Research (CfU, Prof. Mette Buchardt) and to the Institute for Advanced Studies in Problem Based Learning (IAS PBL, Prof. Thomas Ryberg). On-going collaborations are with the NIFU – Nordisk institutt for studier av innovasjon, foskning og utdanning, Olso (Dr.s Mari Elken and Sabine Wollscheid), with the NOS HE-group (Universities Agder, Aarhus and Stockholm) as well as internal colleagues at our department and at the IAS PBL.

I 2015 blev FN's medlemslande enige om 17 Verdensmål til at bekæmpe fattigdom, beskytte planeten og sikre velstand for alle. Denne persons arbejde bidrager til følgende verdensmål:
