Forskningsprofil

Dr. Runa T. Hellwig is Professor of Building Climatology at the Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology at Aalborg University. Her research focusses on the interrelation between human perception and performance, indoor environmental conditions, building service operation modes, building envelope and building energy performance. During her more than 20 years of career she has been carrying out application-oriented research projects and services for the construction and aviation industry, public customers in the laboratory as well as on-site measurement and monitoring projects. Besides her temperate climate background, her recent work covers also tropical equatorial climate conditions. She has been applying experimental work in laboratories, indoors and under real weather, post-occupancy evaluation and statistics.
