Dr. Himanshu Sharma is presently working as a Postdoctoral Fellow (PDF) in the field of “5G- Robots & Digital Twins for Future Smart Industries” in the department of electronics systems at Aalborg University, Denmark, Europe. (QS world ranking #90). His area of Interest is 5G, Digital Twins for smart industries, Industrial IoT (IIoT), Industry 4.0, UWB-based positioning for Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) & Machine Learning. He has worked as Asst. Professor (Research) in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) department of KIET Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad, Delhi-NCR, U.P, India from 2009 to 2022. He received his Ph.D. Degree in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) from Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) (central govt. University), New Delhi, India in 2019 (QS world ranking #751). He completed his M.Tech. (ECE) in 2014 & B.Tech.(ECE) in 2008 respectively, from the state govt. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, U.P, India.
Himanshu Sharma has been awarded the prestigious “Best Faculty Award-2020” by the state govt. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, U.P, India, in the year 2020. He has also received the “Sir C. V. Raman award-2020” by the KIET Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad, U.P. in the year 2020 for the best research papers & patents. He was awarded by Zero Investment Innovation for Education Initiative (ZIIEI) Awards-2020 sponsored by Shri Aurobindo Society & HDFC Bank for his innovative teaching-learning ideas in 2020. Dr. Himanshu Sharma has worked on two European Union (EU) government projects “5G Robot Project” & “Pipesense Project” in collaboration with Arhus University, Denmark, Europe
