Forskningsprofil

I am a PhD student at the Department of Computer Science at Aalborg University, Copenhagen, where I am advised by Johannes Bjerva and Robert Östling (Stockholm University). My PhD is funded by the Multilingual Modelling for Resource-Poor Languages project, which is funded by the Carlsberg Foundation. In my work, I aim to combine methods and findings from linguistic typology with natural language processing (NLP). In particular, my research interests include:

  • (multilingual) machine translation
  • applications of linguistic typology to NLP
  • within- and between-language diversity
  • generalizability in NLP research
