Forskningsprofil

I am an associate professor of Information Studies at the Department of Communication and Psychology at Aalborg University in Copenhagen. Furthermore, I am associated with the Computational Social Science and Humanities Hub MASSHINE. My research lies in the intersection of digital humanities, computational social science and interactive information behaviour and retrieval. I primarily use computational methods like text mining, natural language processing, and social network analysis to answer my research questions. I also value mixed-methods approaches, as most research questions are answered best by triangulating qualitative and quantitative data. I enjoy working with non-traditional data like Wikipedia pageviews to answer humanities or social science research questions. Thematically, I am at the moment interested in climate change communication and climate change information behaviour.
