Ilias Theodorakos is a Biomedical Engineer with expertise in experimental biomechanics and musculoskeletal modelling. His work involves the design of experimental procedures and the development of musculoskeletal models for addressing orthopaedic, ergonomic and sport sciences related research questions. His research interests include the design and evaluation of interventions such as implants, braces and orthoses for improving people’s quality of life and the development of methodologies for accurate and noninvasive, in-vivo motion capture using ultrasound-based technology and markerless solutions.
