Forskningsprofil

I am an economist and a philosopher. My research focuses on issues of justice in money and finance, and on several topics in the philosophy of economics. I also have an interest in social ontology.

My book "Alternative Currencies: a critical approach" has just been published by Routledge in May 2025. The book offers a novel and critical approach to alternative currencies. Through careful consideration of radical proposals and modest experiments, it raises serious doubts about the ability of many of these currencies to fulfill their promise of contributing to a more just and sustainable economy.

Before arriving in Denmark, I worked as a researcher and a lecturer in economics and philosophy in Gothenburg (Sweden), Brussels and Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium), and Lausanne (Switzerland).

Besides philosophy, I am also a classical pianist and a church musician.
