Forskningsprofil

Stine Piilgaard Porner Nielsen is a legal sociologist and is actively building her academic profile through international research collaboration in the fields of welfare states’ social rights regulations, and encounters between welfare practitioners and citizens in marginalized situation.

Methodologically, her research draws on qualitative and dogmatic methods to examine the interplay between law and social practices.

In her research, Stine emphasises close collaboration with welfare state practitioners and citizens to bridge academic research and practice.

Undervisningsprofil

Stine Piilgaard Porner Nielsen teaches law at Aalborg University’s Social Worker Education programme, and she supervises students at Aalborg University’s Social Worker Education programme and at the Law programme.
