Novo Nordisk Foundation's Prize for Excellence in Technical Science Teaching 2025

Pris: Forsknings- uddannelses og innovationspriser

Beskrivelse

With the new teaching prize, the Novo Nordisk Foundation seeks to promote and highlight the importance of engaging collaborative science teaching at university level within four disciplines: Natural Science, Health Science, Technical Science, and Interdisciplinary Teaching.

This year’s prize recipients are being honoured as educators who impact their students and institutions through dedicated teaching that engages and fosters creative thinking. Their efforts serve as inspiration, also at an international level.

The team, consisting of Associate Professor Simon Bøgh, Associate Professor Jens Dalsgaard Nielsen, and Associate Professor Israel Leyva-Mayorga from Department of Electronic Systems, AAU, was chosen as the final nominee by Aalborg University based on recommendations by the students themselves.

The prize includes DKK 1.500.000, including a personal honorarium of DKK 25.000 for each educator. The remaining amount will go to the university as an educational funding grant, to be used by the team for further development of the teaching in their given area.
