Beskrivelse
The aim of the research project is to analyze the social and environmental impact of the Arctic Winter Games 2023 (Wood Buffalo, Canada) and how they impact on representations and collective identity-formation processes. We also wanted to explore the perceived social and environmental value added by this event. This concern is particularly relevant in Arctic territories whose resilience to cultural globalization and climate change are the focus of profound societal questions.
