Danish National Research Foundation: Network in Mathematical Physics and Stochastics (MaPhySto)

The network is a continuation of the Centre for Mathematical Physics and Stochastics. The centre ceased to exist on March 31, 2003, and the Network started on April 1, 2003. The scientific director is Professor Arne Jensen, Aalborg University, and 23 Danish mathematicians, from the universities in Aalborg, Aarhus, Odense, and Copenhagen, are Principal Investigators in the network. The activities are centered on mathematical physics, stochastics, and the interplay between these areas. There are also some activities in selected areas of mathematical biology.
