DaRSIS (Danish Research School for Information Systems) is a research training programme within the area of Information Systems.

The aim of DaRSIS is to improve the quality of research training within the area of Information Systems in Denmark.

DaRSIS addresses PhD students as well as their supervisors. The participating PhD students will be able to take part in professional activities, e.g. summer schools and short PhD courses. Furthermore the programme has allocated money for PhD networking and each year an amount of DKK 50,000 is ear marked for studies abroad for selected PhD students.

The supervisors will be able to take part in activities aimed at internationalisation, mentor arrangements, upgrading of supervisor expertise, and quality measurement. Workshops for supervisors will take place yearly.

DaRSIS is a cooperation between Roskilde University, IT University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen Business School, Technical University of Denmark, Aalborg University and Aarhus School of Business, University of Aarhus. The programme has received a three year grant from the Danish Agency for Science Technology and Innovation - with the possibility of prolongation.

The DaRSIS secretariat is placed at Aarhus School of Business, University of Aarhus, and is managed by Pernille Kræmmergaard with Tinna Meyer as secretary.
