Projektdetaljer

Beskrivelse

This project consists of a theoretical and philosophical investigation aimed at developing a comprehensive model for the treatment of individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, hearing and visual impairments, and neurotic conditions within the field of music therapy. The model is grounded in principles of neuroscience and lifespan development.

The project is carried out in collaboration with the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), under the supervision of Professor Igor Ortega Rodrigues. UFMG’s role is to support the dissemination of the model among undergraduate music therapy students, establishing it as a framework for teaching and application in professional training. In a later phase, the university will also provide students with opportunities to implement the model during their clinical internships. Bruno Verga's contribution is essential to the development and refinement of the theoretical concepts underlying the model.

Aalborg University participates in the project through researcher Gustavo Gattino, who is responsible for reviewing all stages of implementation and coordinating the processes involved in developing educational and clinical materials. In addition, Aalborg University plays a key role in the internationalization of the model, supporting its dissemination in English through academic conferences and online events specifically organized for this purpose.
