Beskrivelse

There is a growing demand for flexibility in education. Among others, the new master's reform in Denmark increases demands for education that professionals can pursue as part of work. Further, recent years’ changes to education have elicited a need to revisit teachers’ competencies and rethink ways to teach in flexible learning spaces. While calls for flexible education and flexible approaches are less surprising, it is unclear how we should approach the issue of educating with flexibility. In the study, we address this concern through two strands: flexible education and flexible facilitation. Combined, these strands are concerned with not only educating people through flexible delivery formats but also discovering what flexibility may mean and involve in a future-oriented university and supporting teachers’ and students’ ability to engage in flexible learning environments.
