The project improved and developed the harmonic calculation for ASD, starting from an existing source code in Matlab. The improving part consists in enlarging the facilities that the old source code uses (e.g. enlarging the initial domain of the input parameters from [0-10]% to [0-25]%) and the developing part consists in adding new facilities to the toolbox (e.g. a new topology for the system diagram, new converters, new calculation results, 2 types of Advanced Harmonic Filters) The overall study has been developed on next topologies: - 06-pulse converter - 12-pulse converter - 18-pulse converter - filter AHF010 on 06-pulse converter - filter AHF005 on 06-pulse converter The project was conducted in next manner: - schematics design - multiple simulations in Pspice: -- different ac inductance 0-25% -- different dc inductance 0-10% -- different loads 0-160% - data processing: -- harmonic currents interpolation, i5?i49 -- ThiD data - creating database and interpolation function for every topology - programming of the core of the toolbox in Matlab - defining input-output parameters for interfacing with GUI software - testing phase and validation procedure - documentation of the results and work After the integration with the Graphical Interface, the toolbox was finally release as a software product "Danfoss VLTÒ MCT 31 harmonic calculation".
