Integrating the African National Economy

Research programme on the making and integration of an African national innovation system using evolutionary economic dynamics .This will build on the work on the book: the Making of African Innovation System (2003) and will be continued with two post-doctoral researchers and 3 doctoral scholars as part of the grant from the SArchi (The research chair initiative of which Mammo is the principal recipient) position with TUT. The objective is to build a PhD academy in Africa with Aalborg and Scandinavian connection (e.g. Globelics Africa Academy). There is also a monthly periodic publication in the AU monitor that started in December 2006 and will continue every month. In addition there is also periodic publication in Business Daily in Kenya.
