Beskrivelse

The primary objective of this study is to produce new interdisciplinary and comparative knowledge about both restrictive and expansive learning environments in the context of elderly care education and work. The secondary objectives are:
• to identify features of policy provisions and organisational environments which facilitate or hinder the motivation and learning of healthcare students and LPNs.
• to analyse the synergies between the development of elderly care organisations and the personal engagements of healthcare students and Licensed Practitioner Nurses (LPNs).
• to provide an analytical framework – one that is sensitive to the distinctive features of elderly care work – for evaluating the quality of learning environments.
