PhD thesis investigating credit in Denmark. The thesis will consist of five articles covering several aspects of debt and credit creation.
The first investigates the underlying social value inherent in credit and money creation. The second and third explore the institutional sector balance sheet interactions, with special focus on interdependency of net balances.
The fourth and fifth articles focus on innovations in credit products in Denmark from 2003 to 2018, with special attention applied to the growth in flexible rate mortgage products.
