This project develops household input-output tables showing how inputs provided by the market, the household itself, and governments are used in everyday activities of households across the globe. The project is part of the "Getting the Data Right Project" and will deliver the structured data to a multiregional environmentally extended input-output table. This will be used to estimate climate footprints of household activities that are comparable across countries. The household-level climate footprints will be used to investigate the role of non-market goods and services for household climate footprints of developing countries.
This PhD project structures household-level data that will be used for the calculation of climate footprints for household activity patterns across the globe. The project is part of the "Getting the Data Right Project" which will provide a globally valid climate footprint calculator. The PhD project will estimate the contribution of household produced goods and services to the climate footprints of households in developing countries.
