Nordic Network on Manufacturing Simulation

The Sheet Metal Forming Group has participated in the project ?Nordic network on Manufacturing Simulation? which was financed partly by Nordic Industrial Foundation (Project P0201) and partly by industrial companies. The other partners in the project were IVF (Sweden), SINTEF (Norwary), VTT Industrial Systems (Finland) and University of Latvia (Latvia). The purpose of the project was to investigate the possibilities for establishing a Nordic network comprising universities, research institutions and industrial companies in the area of manufacturing simulation. The project was terminated in May 2003 with an international workshop on ?Simulation of Manufacturing Processes for Product Development?, IVF, Gothenborg, May 20 ? 21, 2003. The Sheet Metal Forming Group participated in the organisation of this conference (Joachim Danckert, Department of Production, AAU)
