Osteogenesis on the basis of human stem cells transfected with the telomerase gene

Transfection with the telomerase gene immortalises cells. Using this model, we study the oxygen tension effect on differentiation in the direction of bone cells (osteoblasts). Our development of a better technology will make it possible to relate biological cell responses to measured pericellular oxygen tensions. Funded by the National Agency for Enterprise and Housing.
