    Platform for Stability, Democracy & Rights (PSDR) has three academic focus areas: Stability & Fragility; Freedom, Democracy & Rights; and Gender Equality.
    The Building Stronger Universities (BSU) initiative aims at establishing long-term partnerships between Danish universities and research institutions and universities and research institutions in developing countries. The overall objective of the initiative is to support capacity building within the areas of a) research, b) research-based education and, c) research dissemination at the South partner institutions, in order for the universities to a) play an increasing role in economic, social and political development in their local communities / national societies; b) functions as nodes of innovation and knowledge production, and; c) produce skilled and motivated graduates.
    The Platform for Stability, Democracy & Rights (PSDR) has as its goal to strengthen human and institutional capacity in South partner universities in line with the overall objectives of the BSU initiative, and with a specific focus on academic focus areas that can feed into three of the priorities of the Danish Strategy for International Development Cooperation, namely: 1) Freedom, Democracy and Human Rights; 2) Gender Equality, and; 3) Stability and Fragility.
    In Nepal, PSDR collaborates with Tribhuvan University (TU), and a detailed plan of activities has been developed
