The Ph.D.project is a core element in realizing the strategic aim of the Port of
Aalborg of catalyzing sustainable business development by advancing green
business models through industrial symbiosis (IS).The project builds upon existing
IS initiatives to develop an advanced governance model for a strategic IS
enablement and coordination.It contributes to the Port’s ability to attract new
businesses to the region,develop existing businesses, create new green jobs,and
societal win-win situations
