Structural diversity and transcription of class III from Arabidopsis thaliana.

The complete repertoire of class III peroxidases encoded by the Arabidopsis genome have been extracted and their structural properties predicted by bioinformatic tools. Furthermore, their expression analysed by RT-PCR was correlated by counting of ESTs (expressed sequence tags) for each of 40 peroxidase genes.
