The Ph.D. project determines how a facilitator can shape an ecosystem, which increases the business community’s ability to create environmental, social, and economic value that no single firm could create by itself. The main objective is to develop a framework that can be replicated by organizations aspiring to turn industrial areas into eco-industrial parks that foster sustainable business model development.

This project creates knowledge that helps make industrial areas more sustainable. It does so by developing general tools and advice for any ambitious organization that wants to support industrial areas on the path to sustainability. It will answer their question: How can we support companies in working together and creating new business opportunities that are good for people, planet, and profit?
