Beskrivelse
The transition towards circular plastics (recycled & reuse) requires substantial strategic and operational changes for firms across the value chain. Many of these changes are interdependent and emerge only during the transition – rendering the switch to circular plastics for many firms a complex and uncertain endeavour.
The research project CYCLES intends to:
- Increase our knowledge about the technical, logistical and organizational uncertainties of the transition to circular plastics.
- Describe which organizational and personal characteristics may influence the perception and assessment of these uncertainties, and consequential decision-making.
- Develop in close collaboration with firms strategies and approaches to manage these uncertainties effectively and to support robust decision-making.
