    Ph.d.-projektet gennemføres i samarbejde med Densit A/S, med udgangspunkt i patentet PCT/DK00/00358 om kontrolleret indlejring af en separat fysisk/kemisk bundet vandfase i den hærdnende bindemiddelfase. Målsætningen med projektet er at kortlægge vandfasemodificerede mørtlers og cementpastaers fysiske og fysisk-kemiske egenskaber. Der foretages undersøgelser inden for følgende centrale emner: * Mekaniske egenskaber * Hærdeegenskaber * Svindegenskaber. Yderligere har den ph.d.-studerende gennem et ophold på National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), USA, arbejdet med røntgen absorptionsteknik, samt foretaget edb-simuleringer af hydratiseringskinetik. Mejlhede Jensen) The Ph.D. project based on patent application PTC/DK00/00358 on controlled embedment of a separate, physically-chemically bound aqueous phase in the matrix is performed in cooperation with Densit A/S. The aim of the project is to clarify the physical/chemical properties of waterphase modified concrete. The project deals with analysis of the mechanical properties, curing properties and shrinkage properties of these modified concretes, including their autogenous shrinkage kinetics. In connection with the project, a four-month study visit to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), USA, was arranged.
