Wireless Access Network Devices & Applications - WANDA

Projektdetaljer

Beskrivelse

Today there is a general agreement in the wireless research community on the need to ensure convergence between the different mobile architectures and wireless LANs. As a consequence of this, multi-functionally transceivers capable of transmitting and receiving multiple signals simultaneously are required to be designed. The multi-functionality sets some stringent requirements to the performance, robustness and flexibility of the transceivers, while cost and power consumption should remain low - in particularly in the case of handheld devices which is the RISC part of the project. The WANDA project is a joint research activity in a consortium of RISC and WING Divisions and a number of industrial partners as seen below. The RISC part of the project focus on receivers, transmitters and power amplifiers fulfilling the overall design goals set above.Partners in the project are Siemens - Mobile Phone Development, Texas Instruments, RF Micro Devices, BLIP Systems, and Technological Institute.
