Abstrakt
This paper presents a small, coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed wideband antenna for 5G/WLAN application. The proposed antenna consists of a pair of symmetrical meandering C-shaped strips, a rectangular ring strip and a monopole radiator. The designed antenna has a compact size of 20 x 27:5mm2(0.16λ0x0.22λ0). The simulated results show that the proposed antenna has 10-dB impedance bandwidths of 3530 MHz (2.37-5.9 GHz) to cover all the 2.4/5.2/5.8-GHz WLAN bands and the 5G candidate bands (3-6 GHz). The antenna provides regular omnidirectional radiation patterns, relatively stable gain in the working bands.
