Abstract
This paper seeks to explore the attributes of a double-fed MIMO slot antenna, specifically designed with wireless local-area network (WLAN) frequency band filtering to enhance its applicability in ultra-wideband (UWB) communications. The antenna integrates a planar configuration comprising a pair of arc-shaped structures serving as radiation stubs, with a circular-ring slot and a shared ground plane. The arc-shaped stubs are equipped with Omega-shaped slots to generate the desired filtering notch. The antenna effectively operates within 3-10.7 GHz, providing UWB spectrum coverage. Furthermore, the antenna exhibits a singular and adjustable filtering characteristic, effectively suppressing interference from WLAN systems within the 5.5 GHz frequency.
